Inclusivity Matters.

People with a disability are the biggest minority population in the world, but they are hugely underrepresented in media and advertising, in sports participation and in the fitness industry, gyms and classes.

Movement Health Clubs have created a space of complete inclusion for people with special needs, those with a disability and the aged care. Starting with participation in a range of dedicated, specifically designed classes, people living with disabilities will continue to find comfort in all aspects of participation within our health clubs.

We provide specialist instructors to bring all sorts of movement to people with a range of different abilities in a positive and caring environment. We believe movement is for everyone, no matter how limited people may be. These classes are about encouraging people to move, creating confidence and inspiration, where they look forward to coming and leave with a huge smile on their face.

CLASSES

CHAIR STRETCH YOGA

Gentle exercises to beautiful music where stability is helped with the support of a chair. Stretches and strengthening work to help with mobility and range.

MUSIC & DANCE

Fun, uplifting & easy to follow dance moves with songs you can sing along too. Bring out your inner child to all forms of music & dance.

EASY SWIM

You will be helped through your u strokes by our qualified swim coach at your own level. Easy swim provides confidence in the water and increases better breathing of the lungs.

SPLASH

Aqua class that includes walking, arm movements, pool noodles and mobility work that is easy on joints in the buoyancy of the water. Great for any age and for people who love the water. Please bring own swimmers and towel.

LITE MOVES CIRCUIT

Functional exercises to increase kinetical awareness in everyday activites. Improves coordination, muscle strength and mobility, working through rotational stations sometimes using equipment and or body weight.
