Side Quests & Progress Points

Are you bored? Looking for a little extra motivation? I see you.

At Movement, we believe that small steps lead to big progress but most of all action creates motivation. That's why we've introduced a new concept: Side Quests. These are small, fun challenges custom-tailored to each progress journey position that can earn you Progress Points (PP).

Progress Points are a fun way to track your progress and celebrate your achievements. Yes, they're completely made up and have no real-world value, but so are birds. You can earn PP by completing Side Quests, attending classes, hitting milestones, and tbh however else you want.

Here are a few examples of Side Quests for each journey position:

Is this how you do it?
Try a new type of workout or piece of equipment, like kickboxing, rock climbing or that strange piece of equipment one uses.

Namaste-heyyy
Take a yoga class, even if you've never done it before. Who knows, there might be a really fun and good-looking instructor.

Wrong Turn
Do something spontaneous, like taking a different route home from work or getting on a random bus.
200PP

Road Trip!
If you’ve never been to Movement before it’s time to do a drive-by. Don’t worry about coming in just drive past so you know the route and location.
1000PP

High Five and Go
Pop in and high-five one of our staff. Don’t worry they aren’t gonna try to sell you anything or convince you to stay they honestly just like the attention.
2000PP

Down Time
Catch yourself picking up your phone for no reason at least once today.

Of course, these are just a few examples. The possibilities are endless, and we encourage you to create your own Side Quests or suggest some below.

why bother with Side Quests and Progress Points at all?

Well, for one thing, they're a great way to break out of your comfort zone and try new things. They also help you focus on the small wins and celebrate your progress along the way, rather than just focusing on the end goal.

Another benefit of Side Quests is that they encourage you to take action and develop new habits. By completing small tasks, you're building momentum and creating a sense of accomplishment that can lead to bigger and better things.

So, if you're feeling stuck in your progress journey or just looking for a little extra motivation, why not give Side Quests a try? They're a fun, low-pressure way to challenge yourself, earn Progress Points, and track your progress. And who knows, you might just discover a new hobby, interest, or passion along the way.

Thanks for reading, and happy questing!
